2 Years

What was the driving force for you to start your business?

I found a way to turn my hobby into a profession. I have always been fascinated by interesting advertisements. I got pretty hooked by it. It was amazing how it grabs the audience’s attention and influences them in decision making. I want to combine my animation expertise with creative ideas. Around this time I also stumbled upon the term “Explainer Videos” and fell in love with its concept of ultimate creativity.

Luckily I found my friend passionate as me regarding the animated video. After partaking in an animated video development company, we decided to provide simple short, and entertaining videos at a reasonable cost. Creating an animated video is time-consuming, but a highly entertaining job which reflects both my interests and values. My own business that helped me makes a transition from a hobby to a profession.

Is the business running as successfully as you thought it would? Please comment.

Yes, of course, its successful more than what we expected.

What started as a two people company has grown profoundly in just two years. Today, our company has a strong team of 23 people who take care of everything from ideation to execution. Audio dubbing and music, scripting, animation, voices, and editing are the secret sauces for success in our industry. Thus, everything is handled in-house to provide the best videos.

We began our service with 2 videos per month and today produce 20-25 videos on a monthly basis. Currently, when age-old companies are still struggling to create their place in the industry, Toon Explainers have carved a niche of its own and in this short span, the company has more than 100 videos to its credit each of which is created after constant brainstorming sessions to make videos that tell stories the brand wants to convey their visitors.

Who is your target audience?

We help any business to grab the audience’s attention in a short span of time. It’s a quick, memorable way to make an impact on their audience and help provide the viewer with the important information they need to make an informed buying decision.

Your Suggestion to the startup companies and entrepreneurs.

When you have an idea, figure out the pieces you need quickly, go to market…

Many business people focus on what is static, black, and white. Yet great algorithms can be rewritten. A business process can be defined better. A business model can be copied. But the speed of execution is dynamic within you and can never be copied. When you have an idea, figure out the pieces you need quickly, go to market, believe in it, and continue to iterate.

What is a success according to you?

Success is not about money and it definitely cannot be measured. Success is all about that grind, hard work, determination, and most of all, it’s a journey.

Never let someone determine what success should be for you. You have to figure out what success means to you because this is your personal journey.

List a few of the most challenging situations you have faced in your entrepreneurial journey.

Fear of evolving

Got big reach in a short time…When faced with the idea of expansion, I was in need of huge money to expand my team. This is the problem every successful start-up facing.

I went toward the situation and took action to conquer that fear.  I had faith that it will only result in my highest good and learning.

Who/What is your greatest inspiration and why?

The short answer is “Passion”

I am passionate about creating the best video through box thinking. Passion for the niche market, I serve drives the inspiration to be the best.

What is your leadership/management style?

Management style is so hard to put your finger on, but I think in general a good manager gives clear directions and actually stays pretty hands-off, but is ready and available to jump in to offer guidance, expertise, and help when needed. I try my best to make my management style.

What is your leadership mantra?

No life ever grows great until it is focused, dedicated and disciplined”
